The major challenge facing the Egyptian society currently is the traffic issue, we’re in a pre-operating phase of a project called (“Za7ma – زحمة”) that seeks to inspire mainstream Egyptians to look differently to our problems by searching and proposing solutions other than crying about it, starting with the Za7ma issue.
While entrepreneurs will be stepping up for their role in the society by executing projects that will all value to a bigger picture solution and ignite a grassroots movement to reduce “Za7ma” all around Egypt.
The project is currently in a pre-launching phase, where we’re experimenting with several models and expected to launch on a larger scale during March, 2012.
The story comes back to a Twitter conversation we had during 2011 where our Twitter followers very actively proposed different solutions to the Za7ma issue, we held gatherings to entrepreneurs operating interesting projects related to traffic, had a brainstorming session and worked on developing the project strategy.
We’re looking for partners from different sectors who might be interested in getting involved and helping out, if you know one of them, feel free to reach out to us through za7ma (at) egypreneur.com.eg
